A celebration to mark the International Day for Disabled People and also 1,000 days until the start of the London 2012 Paralympics, is to take place in Reading.
The Reading Walks scheme is accredited under the National Walking for Health Initiative, which aims to increase people's physical activity levels.
Hundreds of pupils in Reading have been set a challenge by the Council to get fitter, healthier and improve their lifestyle.
