Winter Events For Disabled Families in Reading

he Council's Aiming High sport, leisure and culture team has, together with various partners based in Reading, organised a host of events to keep families active and entertained over the winter months.

An 8-week football coaching course and a tour of Madejski Stadium (November 2nd-December 21st), accessible cycling sessions at Palmer Park Sports Stadium, free trampolining and rebound sessions at Meadway Sports Centre for families with children with additional needs under 5 years and make and do art and craft classes at the Museum of Reading are just some of the sessions that have been organised especially for families with children with additional needs. .

A special trip to see this year's pantomime 'Cinderella' has also been organised for 6th and 19th December. Children who would like to go along will be accompanied by the Sport Reading Development Team.
